Solo exhibition:Rogen Ebihara
It is our pleasure to present the solo exhibition ‘Sumi Art’ by Rogen Ebihara at Gallery Ueda. (We look forward to seeing you, coverage,andpublication will be greatly appreciated)
This exhibition, which is only dedicated to his ‘Sumi art’ is a new challenge for the artist.
Appointed Japan Cultural Envoy in 2012, his works and performances have been shown in many prominent venues including the World Heritage,Tenryuji templein Kyoto, and also abroad, in UK. ,Italy, and in China, the Qing Long temple and the Da Xing Shan temple known for where Ku-kai received his teachings.

From the works like abstract paintings with gold and silver light on the dignified quietness of ink, you will hear a melody full of dynamism.
Please enjoy the new world created by Ebihara which positions himself as “ink artist” instead of “calligrapher”. Approximately 40 items will be on display.
